12- lungo e corto – long and short – 長和短

Lungo is quite similar to English ‘long’…
But about the ‘short’, corto… At the beginning, actually I found a word ‘breve’.
I was talking to my boyfriend that time, I asked him how they say short, he says, ‘it’s ok to use breve, but corto is more common that Italians use.’
